Frequently Asked Questions
Who should see a chiropractor?
Chiropractic care is suitable for people of all ages who want to improve their spine
health, posture, and overall well-being. Whether you’re dealing with back or neck
pain, stiffness, headaches, poor posture, or simply want to move and feel better, a
chiropractor can help. Many people also choose chiropractic care as a proactive way
to maintain a healthy spine and prevent future problems.
Does chiropractic hurt?
Chiropractic adjustments are generally comfortable and gentle. Most patients feel a
sense of relief or lightness after their adjustment. Chiropractors use safe, specific
techniques tailored to each person’s age, condition, and comfort level. Occasionally,
there may be mild soreness similar to what you might feel after starting a new
exercise routine — this is temporary and part of your body’s natural healing
response.
Can chiropractic care help improve my posture?
Yes! One of the key benefits of chiropractic care is postural correction – we are
Perth’s only chiropractic clinic that uses postural traction machines as part of
chiropractic biophysics. All of our chiropractors have undergone additional training
specifically in postural correction. Through spinal adjustments, posture exercises,
and lifestyle guidance, chiropractic care helps realign your spine and retrain your
body to hold itself in a healthier, more balanced position. Over time, this can reduce
strain, boost energy, and even improve your confidence and appearance.
Is chiropractic dangerous?
When performed by a qualified and registered chiropractor, chiropractic care is safe
and evidence-based. Chiropractors in Australia undergo 5 years of university
training and are regulated health professionals. The techniques used are designed to
be gentle and precise, minimising risk while helping your body function at its best.
Many patients find chiropractic care to be a natural and effective way to support their
health without relying on medication or surgery.
How much does treatment cost?
We are currently running a special on our initial consultations of $49 (normally $159)
this also includes X-rays if beneficial taken here in the clinic (normally additional
cost).
How long are our treatments?
Treatments are anywhere between 20-35 minutes and typically involve chiropractic
work, remedial massage(by a qualified therapist) and spinal traction.
